I have a PHD in horrible!

[It's been a few days since she's disappeared, but Billy has really only now come to terms with Penny being gone again. He spent a few days trying to track her PCD's location with little success. He's only just recently given up on his search.]

[So he's lounging in his giant evil plotting chair (he found a normal sized chair and grew it with his shrink/grow ray) currently looking very down. Soft piano music begins and if one listens intently, the voice of a woman can be heard accompanying him. Not his song, but it's still an important part of Penny to him, so he sings along.]

[Sure, he's a bit of a pessimist and half the stuff in this song goes against it, but Penny said it so it's automatically something he'd remember.]

[The theme song plays in the background for a few seconds as the names of the actors flash across the screen of the makeshift computer Billy made quite some time ago.  But, the thing is, it never had the internet until now.]

Who the hell...is Neil Patrick Harris?

[Billy, in his civilian outfit, smiles into the camera.]

H-hey, Penny?  I was wondering...if you were uh...busy later.  I found this old shop that has a working frozen yogurt machine...I know you like it and I was wondering if you wanted to...uh...check it out with me.  

What do you say?  W-want to go with me?  We can...you know...catch up and talk.

OOC:  Billy totally didn't spend the last few days making a frozen yogurt machine and sticking it into a random building with electricity just to go on a "date" with Penny...no sir....

Has anyone else noticed that we've started another week but there's been no event?  I don't like the look of this.  We might be getting a week off but...I have a bad feeling about next week.  I might just be paranoid but...my spidy senses are totally tingling and we don't get many weeks off without something big happening afterwords.

Are you all going to help Madara in his plans to attack the city again?  Personally, the last time didn't go very well for me and I'm not risking that again.  If any of you are going to help, I'll see what I can do about hacking into security cameras in the city to give you some time before the guards show up but I'm not going in there because of this crazy guy's plans. 

He might be on our side but...I don't trust him.  Sure, villains don't follow the rules but even back home they stick together.  This guy seems like he'd betray us at any given second. 

OOC: Strikes are hackable, he just striked them out last minute because he's actually being serious, though his inner dork leaked through.  <3

[PCD turns on to show Billy sitting in front of a dinky little fan that looks like he threw together in five minutes.  His face is right in front of the fan and he's got a semi-content look on his face...before the support of the blades suddenly snaps and crashes to the ground.  In his haste to get it completed, he forgot to reinforce the pole to the top of the fan.]

Balls...

[sweat starts to form on his brow as he bends down to grab the fan parts and he throws them on top of one of his counters and sighs.  He grabs a water bottle that he had on one of this tables as he looks down on the fan.  After a moment of thinking, he places the water down and grabs a few tools, going to work on the fan once more]

If I reinforce this...that should be able to support the weight of this...maybe I can get it to go faster too once I make sure it doesn't fall over...

[his hands work with practiced ease over the machine parts, unscrewing parts and taking things apart so that he can re-do his project.  After a moment, he glances to the side and sees his PCD on.  He reaches over and turns it off]

[Horrible is standing under some mistletoe, simply waiting for it to go away at this point.  His PCD is a few feet away from him because he realized he dropped it after he had gotten stuck.  He sighs and fiddles with his freeze ray, which he had brought for protection as he was walking to the junk yard.]

Stupid mistletoe...I wish Penny was still here...maybe she'd help me out of this...

[he gets a small smile on his face when he thinks of Penny and, as he day dreams, a bunny can be seen in the background, slowly inching toward him.  After a few seconds, it lets of a hiss and jumps toward him.  Billy turns around and lets out a yell of surprises as he seed the bunny fly toward him.  He scrunches his eyes closed and points his freeze ray in the direction of the bunny.  The freeze ray activates and hits the rabbit...barely an inch away from Billy's face.  It sits there motionless in the air for a few seconds before Billy opens his eyes.]

I...I got it!  Don't mess with the man with a PHD in Horribleness, rabbit!

[he stands there, clearly proud of himself for a few moments before the feed runs out]

[Rickroll song is still in the background, though it's the end of the song.  The camera is perched on a rock or some sort of stand and Dr. Horrible can be seen standing in front of several large boxes.  He turns to the camera, giving a quick smirk, before lighting the first box on fire and running behind the camera.  A few seconds pass by before a large BANG is heard, and many more follow.  The camera doesn't show the fireworks, but there are flashes of lights every few seconds.  The first box finishes the fireworks that are inside of it and Billy's face appears into the camrea.]

Happy Fourth of July, Adstringendum.

[He turns back to the boxes and goes to light the next one.  The feed turns off.]

OOC: Billy made fireworks for AD!  For about an half hour or so, there will be a fire work show in the skys of AD.  He's in the middle of the city, so it should be visible to most everyone and they're high enough so that everyone will see.

What's going...!?

[before he can even finish his sentence, the music begins to play in the background, and it's not his usual musical sing-along music.]

Did I just get...freaking Rickrolled?

A beach event, huh?  As "fun" as that sounds, I think I'll opt out of this event.  The beach means the sun, and the sun means sunburns, and sunburns eventually lead to skin cancer.  With my skin, I wouldn't last five minuets without burning.  Plus, that stupid sand gets everywhere and I'd rather not get it in places that I didn't know I had.

So have fun to those who are crazy enough to go out in this, I'll be enjoying myself from the shade and comfort of my lab.

[Billy turns on the PCD and he smiles into the camera]

I've been working for almost two weeks non-stop on this thing and I finally have it done!  I might have had to sacrifice my jet pact engine for it but it was worth it.

[He places the PCD onto the counter, which gives it a better view of his lab and the second wheelchair that is sitting next to him.  He lifts himself from the one he's in and settles down into the new one.  He presses a few buttons that are on one of the arms and, with the other arm, starts moving a control stick that is placed near his hand.  After a moment, his wheelchair begins to move and soon it is hovering in the air.  Billy laughs and moves the control stick, making the motors move and propelling him around the room.  When he's finished, he moves the chair back to where it started and smirks into the camera]

Pretty neat, huh?  Once it's charged fully, it should last me a few hours.  It'll be a lot easier moving around now that I don't have to worry about rolling up or down stairs and going over rubble.

[He smirks once more and reaches over to turn off the camera.  The screen goes blank after a moment]

[Billy's voice is strained as he turns his PCD on.]

I need some help....now.  Got shot in the legs....can't move them at all...I barely was able to get out of there with my jet pack but it's all out of juice now...

[he hisses in pain and there is the sound of him shifting a bit in the background.]

Dammit...this is worse then when Hammer threw a car at my head...

[Horrible turns his PCD on and he has a smug smile on his face]

Hate to say it but, to everyone who was affected by the event and basically told everyone that wasn't affected that we were crazy...

I told you so.

Okay...am I the only one in this place that is confused out of their mind about whatever is going on around here?  Is this the event the Animus were talking about?  I guess they skipped me this time around...

I'm glad to be back in my own body now.  It's good to see that the person in my lab didn't blow it up or anything.  I can actually get some work done now.

Oh...does anyone have some bleach or something that can get blood out of clothes?  Someone decided that it would be a good idea to go hunting in my white lab coat and now it's covered in blood.  

I just have one question...WHY AM I SUDDENLY A RAT!?

[Horrible turns the PCD on and he has a big smile on his face and large circles under his eyes as if he hadn't slept much in the last few days.]

Took me a long time and almost no sleep for a week but I got the blueprints.  No one's ever been able to keep me out of their systems as of yet!

[SUDDEN SPAM INTERRUPTION IN HIS TRANSMISSION THAT TAKES UP THE ENTIRE SCREEN]

[PCD turns on and shows Horrible reaking havoc on random NPCs somewhere in the Safezone and Hammer can be seen on the screen too, though he seems to have been just recently frozen.  Music starts playing in the background and Horrible begins his evil villain solo.]

Slipping

[First off PRETEND PENNY ISN'T THERE and secondly right as he finishes his song the freeze ray, which he has been pushing to its limits, finally has overheated (since it must be on to retain people's frozenness) and shuts down.  So all frozen people are now unfrozen.  He turns around right as he's about to shoot Hammer.]

That's...not a good sound.

[feet cuts off]

OOC:  Hammer-mun, since you said I could freeze Hammer I hope you're alright that I did this!  Also, we can log out what happens after or before this if you want!  Just send me a message. Oh, and this is future dated to in a few hours to right when the Villain's event ends.  Oh, and that hackable with skill thing?  That was a myth...never happened ;D

Carmen, a good friend of mine arrived here a few days from home.  His name is Moist.  He's my evil moisture buddy and a great henchman! 

I think he'd be able to help out with our plans!  And I'm sure he'd be glad to help out.

[PCD is turned on to show Horrible, who is quickly taking off his lab coat and putting on a normal looking sweatshirt over the tee-shirt that was under the lab coat.  He grabs his goggles and pulls them off his head and places them down on the counter.  He looks into the PCD and he looks very happy but at the same time nervous]

Penny is here!  Penny!  I can't believe it.

No one--and I mean no one--tell her that I'm Dr. Horrible.  She doesn't know and...I don't know how she'd react if she found out.  So don't go telling her, okay?

And for now...call me Billy not Dr. Horrible.  Thanks.

[he pauses for a moment before grabbing the PCD and beginning to walk out of his lab.]

Now if you excuse me, I've got a girl to pick up!
